The newsroom was put on emergency and key members of the staff were recalled from the public holiday.
We were to expect the worse and hope for the best.
There were two potential breaking news events if something had gone wrong.
1) Singapore's National Day
2) Discovery Space Shuttle
Thank God nothing happened.
I was recalled to do the night news anyway. But since I was bored out of my wits in between bulletins, i decided to explore our recently installed TV in our PC.
And I discovered I can take snap shots of myself. So on the repeat telecast of the World Tonight on CNA International, i became trigger happy:



Meanwhile, I had to cancel prior plans for Singapore's National Day!

Glad that Discovery Space Shuttle made a safe landing back on earth....space exploration mission is crucial for the future well being of humanity..we need to know what is beyond and outside our own planet..
